CANCELLATION POLICY

CANCELLATION POLICY

Before we dive into the serious stuff, here’s a little reminder: we’re a boutique salon with a passionate team and a carefully managed schedule. When we reserve an appointment for you, we’re setting aside valuable time in our team’s day and often turning away other clients who would love that spot.

Our team shows up ready to create beautiful hair and a little bit of magic. When appointments are cancelled at the last minute or forgotten altogether, it’s not just an empty chair, it directly impacts our team, our business, and the clients patiently waiting for an appointment.

We completely understand that life can throw curveballs. Kids get sick, traffic happens, alarms fail us, and sometimes the universe simply has other plans.

We believe in kindness, common sense, and compassion… and we’ll always do our best to be understanding when genuine emergencies arise.

But to keep things fair for our team, our business, and our wonderful clients, we ask that you please respect the following policy:

DEPOSITS:

To secure your appointment, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Your deposit will be applied towards your service on the day of your appointment.

APPOINTMENT CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS:

  • We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
  • Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the forfeiture of your 50% deposit.
  • Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 4 hours’ notice, or missed entirely (the dreaded no-show) will additionally, result in the remaining balance of the appointment being charged. (i.e. 100% of your scheduled appointment cost).
  • Cancellations should be made by phone please and cannot be accepted via social media, text message or email.

SERVICE CHANGES:

If you’d like to adjust your scheduled service, please let us know as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours before your appointment.

We understand that sometimes plans change, and you may decide you no longer want the full service you originally booked. However, if you choose to remove, reduce, or downgrade a service within 24 hours of your appointment, or on the day itself you will still be charged for the original service booked. Why? Because that time was reserved exclusively for you, and it’s often too late for us to fill the gap with another client. For example. if you’ve booked a full head of foils and decide on the day that you’d prefer a half head, the original booking cost will still apply. Of course, if you’d like to add services, we’ll always do our best to accomodate your requests. Additional services are subject to stylist availability and timing on the day.

RUNNING LATE?:

Please let us know as soon as possible. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten, reschedule, or cancel your service to avoid impacting the rest of our guests. In these circumstances, you will still be charged for the original service booked.

We know that nobody books an appointment intending to cancel it. These policies simply help us protect our talented team, keep our doors open, and ensure appointment availability for clients who are eagerly waiting for a spot.

When booking your appointment, you’re reserving both your stylist’s expertise and their time. We appreciate your understanding that both are equally valuable.

Thank you for supporting our small business, respecting our time, and helping us continue doing what we love. We can’t wait to welcome you into the salon.
